Love Is Blind is back for season two is back and so, naturally, everyone is talking about the hit Netflix series.
It had us completely gripped last season as we watched the couples blind date in the pods, fall in love without ever having seen each other!, get engaged and then go on holiday before getting married and settling into everyday life – all in the space of a month or two.
You’ll be pleased to know that Lauren and Cameron and Amber and Barnett are still together from the first season, and both couples got married on the show. There are rumours that – despite their wedding day hiccup – Giannina and Damian are still dating, too.
If you’re anything like us, you were left with loads of questions after the final episode. While many of them were cleared up during the fiery reunion, there is one thing that wasn’t addressed: like the fact that two contestants actually knew each other before the show.
It turns out that Jessica Batten and Kelly Chase have been friends for ten years.
During an Instagram Q&A with her followers, someone asked Jessica: ‘Did you know Kelly before the show?’
She replied: ‘I’ve known Kel for 10 years!’ and shared a throwback snap of the pair.

Kelly was asked the same question during her own social media Q&A, telling followers: ‘Jessica and I actually met ten or 11 years ago from an ex boyfriend’s same social circle.’
Many were confused about their friendship as it was never addressed during the series, but while it wasn’t made clear on the show, at the time of filming all the contestants lived in Atlanta – so it’s likely that some of them may have known each other beforehand.
Who’d have guessed it? We certainly didn’t… and wonder if any contestants will secretly know each other this season?
