For example, ‘cancel your gym session to have a drink with your friend who’s just been dumped’ as Caroline de Maigret says, or to always dress ‘simple, effortless, chic’ like Jeanne Damas. Although we know we’ll never actually be French, it’s fun to pretend to be.
