Prince Harry and Meghan Markle may have stepped down as royal family members and relocated to California, but that certainly doesn’t stop them from making headlines.
This past year has been no exception as the Duke and Duchess of Sussex confirmed the news that they were expecting a daughter, announced that they would not be returning to royal duties and took part in a tell-all interview with Oprah.
It was their son Archie that made headlines this week however as he celebrated his second birthday. And to mark the occasion, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex released a sweet photograph of their son holding a bunch of balloons.

Royal family members came out in force to with Archie a happy birthday, from the Queen and Prince Charles to the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.
It was Prince William and Kate Middleton’s tribute that got the world talking the most – particularly amid speculation of fallouts and feuds with the Sussex couple.

‘Wishing Archie a very happy 2nd birthday today
’, the Cambridges captioned a throwback snap from Archie’s christening, raking in over a million likes on Instagram.
While fans took to the comment section to praise the Duke and Duchess for the sweet gesture, eagle-eyed followers spotted a subtle detail relating to the photograph of choice.
The snap chosen by the Cambridges was the same photograph they used last year to mark Archie’s birthday.
This could of course be for sentimental reasons, but it could also be due to the fact that the Cambridge couple has not seen much of Archie.
There is no word as of yet how Archie spent his day, but we’re sure it was full of presents, balloons and waffles.
Happy birthday Archie!
