It’s now or never if you’re going to invest in one of this season’s biggest shoe trends: high boots. And if you’re after a particular style, then you might want to check out Dear Frances‘ Ana boots (yep, that’s the Insta-famous shoe brand).
I say this, because even though they haven’t even launched yet, they’re very high on fashion influencers’ wish lists on a global scale. In fact, the demand is such that the brand has had to place a second order for the black and brown croc styles already.
And it’s no shocker to be honest. With its flattering knee-high length (but not too high that it’ll look ridiculous if you’re short), and slight slouchy calf, the Ana is elegant and gives a modern twist to the 70s trend.

It also comes in a variety of prints and finishes. There are the aforementioned croc styles, as well as more classic smooth cream and pecan, and an altogether jazzier pony print.

Influencers across Europe such Emma Hill, Anne-Miek Kessels (@modeamour), Tina Maria Hansen (@_tinamaria), Veronica Giomini, Claire Rose Cliteur (@claartjerose), as well as Marta Pozzan and Laura Angelone in the US have all asked about the boots and celebs are joining in on the act too.
The team at Dear Frances has also had a request from Gigi and Bella Hadid’s stylist for a pair of the Black Croc and Cream styles.
I’ll personally be adding the brown croc and pecan styles to my wish list and will be wearing them with a midi length cashmere dress all winter.
