The royals are the most talked-about family in the world, especially during the Christmas season, known for their big family breaks at Sandringham.

From the big walk to church with all the extended relatives and a ban on Monopoly, to joke Christmas present exchanges and of course the annual Christmas dinner weigh-in, the Mountbatten-Windsor traditions are unsusual to say the least, and it’s hardly surprising that they have captivated the public.

It wasn’t the mega Christmas lunch of turkey, shrimp and lobster or Kate Middleton’s festive sacrifice that got the world talking the most these past two holiday seasons. Instead, it was the Queen’s hilariously extra Christmas baubles that made headlines.

A glimpse of one of Her Majesty’s Christmas trees went viral online last year as it revealed her taste in Christmas decorations.

Instead of traditional baubles, it would appear that the Queen decorates her Christmas tree with mini crowns, and the internet is loving it.

And apparently there are more where they came from, with the monarch reportedly having a hilarious collection of regal tree decorations, from tiny crowns and thrones to even…miniature corgis.

Like we needed a reason to rate Queen Elizabeth more!

This is hilarious. Pictures please!
