Spring is on its way, which means it’ll be summer before we know it – cue the weekend barbecues in the garden with a delicious gin tipple.
But if you’re not big on the juniper juice, fear not. There’s something out there for you, too.
Launching exclusively at ASDA, customers will soon be able to get their hands on the Absolut Passionfruit Vodka and it sounds like the perfect sunshine sip.
If you prefer something a little bit fruity, the supermarket says it is ‘the perfect springtime drink, best served loaded with citrus fruits and ice.’
A spokesperson says: ‘Passion fruit is the punchy flavour to watch this year, with interest increasing by 12% compared to the previous year.
‘A tasty tropical treat, the premium vodka is infused with the subtle sweetness of passion fruit to form a fruity glass bursting with flavour.’
Lauren Bungay, Asda’s spirits buyer, says: ‘Vodka is having a revival in Britain with the launch of new and innovative flavours, including the Absolut Lime which we already stock, allowing more people than ever to enjoy the spirit.
‘With the popularity of flavoured vodka on the up, we want to give our customers something to sip throughout spring and share with their loved ones.’
A 70cl bottle will set you back £16, and we’re certain that these are going to fly off the shelves – so it’s probably worth stocking up to be ready for those summer get togethers.
