It was revealed today that Meghan Markle visited the newly opened second branch of the Luminary Bakery in London, an organisation which welcomes women from vulnerable circumstances (be it abuse, poverty, trafficking, marginalisation) and equips them with the job skills and confidence to succeed.
The Duchess has worked with them in the past and featured them as one of her forces for change in the September issue of Vogue, which she guest edited.
She chatted to women during her visit, and even participated in a baking masterclass. And it seems that without even realising it, she indirectly made an extra impact thanks to her choice of clothing.
Meghan wore a striped boyfriend shirt by With Nothing Underneath, a brand with a sustainable focus which specialises in 100% cotton shirts (which are meant to last a lifetime).
Having seen the actress wearing the shirt, it has now pledged to support the organisation with every sale of the shirt.

Posting a picture of the Duchess wearing the shirt, With Nothing Underneath wore, ‘Please do take a moment to have a look at Luminary Bakery, a social enterprise for disadvantaged women. With Nothing Underneath has pledged a donation in the wake of our increased sales of this shirt to the cause.’
So by buying this shirt, you too will be contributing to a good cause.
It’s not the first time Meghan has worn a shirt by this ethical brand. She wore its blue boyfriend shirt to surprise women participating in the shoot of her clothing collaboration with the SmartWorks charity earlier this year.
You can visit the bakery at 71-73 Allen Road, Stoke Newington, Hackney, N16 8RY and 47 Chalk Farm Road, NW1 8AJ.
