HURT BY PARADISE, a film by Greta Bellamacina.
‘HURT BY PARADISE’, Greta Bellamacina’s directorial debut. Already making waves on the film circuit, Hurt by Paradise was shot with a budget of £75,000 and has been nominated for several awards including Best British Feature Film at Edinburgh and Best UK Feature Film at Raindance.
The story of Celeste, a single mother a aspiring poet struggling to get her first book published has been expertly crafted for the screen. The casting alone is one reason to check it out, everyone from Jaime Winstone to Camilla Rutherford make an appearance and makes the first cinema role for Tanya Burr, a longtime friend of Marie Claire.
