5 Healthy Habits to Adopt This Year January 31, 2018 at 01:45PM
If you’ve been wanting to improve your wellness game this year but don’t know how or are afraid to start, don’t stress! We’ve all been there, and the only thing you need to do right now is commit to starting something new that’s good for you.
From my own experience, having an actionable guide can make the process easier, so I’ve put together a list of healthy habits to adopt this year that are not only good for you, but also easy to incorporate into your daily routine. If you’re thinking, “I don’t have time to do all five!” don’t’ worry. Start by committing to just one of the items below and see how you feel. Once you’ve got the hang of it as a part of your routine, add another one. Then another. You’ll feel both mentally and physically healthier before you know it.
The Subtle Art of Pattern Mixing The subtle art of pattern mixing is a lot like the finer art of cocktail mixing, if you get the proportions right the result can be amazing! Personally, I pride myself on being proficient in both – a bit of a ‘mixologist’ if you will. Whether it’s Gingham or Gin, I’ll find what works best. Needless to say, being humble is also one of my finer qualities. : ) My ability to mix patterns doesn’t come from spending hours putting together different looks, but rather from my 17 years as a graphic designer. Though a basic understanding of design may have helped me pair colours and patterns, only firm unwavering dedication has helped me perfect my cocktails! Practice makes perfect I guess, or in this case, practice makes you perfectly drunk. If I’ve suddenly wet your appetite for cocktails, you’re in the wrong place, you wanna be here instead. If however, you’re ready to get down to some serious pattern mixing tips, read on. Now the gentle art of pattern mixing can be quite complex so we can do this the easy way or the hard way. The hard way will be filled with extensive theory and mind-numbing details that will probably make you never want to wear a pattern ever again but rather just drink cocktails. So let’s do it the easy way. The easy way is pretty simple. Better yet, it’s pretty short so you won’t be here for hours trying to read this blog post – better yet I won’t be here for hours trying to write it. There is only one thing to remember when mixing patterns. I eluded to it earlier with proportions, but really what it comes down to is scale and contrast. Big against small, small against big and so on. Yep, that’s the trick. Simply put, you never want the size of your patterns to be so close that they look similar. Visually this will make your brain try to continually work out if they’re the same pattern and create that weird uncomfortable feeling of “somethings just not right”. So let’s use this look as an example. The suit itself has a very broad windowpane pattern, the nice thing about windowpane is that it’s generally a larger scale and quite a slight pattern, so visually it’s not very busy – of course, the more the colours of the pattern contrasts the busier it will become, but we’ll get to that. The suit also occupies the most amount of visual space (it’s what your eye will see the most of) so if the pattern is very busy, make sure the rest of your patterns aren’t. This helps create that visual contrast. In this case, the windowpane on this suit was not very busy so I could create contrast with the other elements. I decided to go with a much broader striped shirt in pink to compliment the blue of the suit (pink and blue just love each other) but to contrast with the fine check stripe of the windowpane suit. As a basic rule, you never want to pair the same pattern together, so checks with checks or dots with dots makes pattern mixing much more difficult – HOWEVER, breaking this rule and getting it right can help create some amazing fashion forward looks! The tie contains a micropattern in the fabric weave, the herringbone pattern creates a broad diagonal stripe in the tie. In this case, the broad diagonal contrasted nicely with the finer stripes of the shirt and the houndstooth was small enough to create double contrast against the shirt stripe! Lastly, we needed to make the pocket square work. Visually the pocket square would sit against the suit, so it needed to contrast with the fabric of the suit. As we’ve already established the pattern of the suit is large but slight, so I decided on a pocket square with a very small paisley pattern. Your pocket square should always compliment your shirt and tie, so in this case, I was matching the pinks. The pocket square also had touches of purple in it, so in order to not let it feel “out of the blue” as it were, I brought in a purple tie clip to balance it all out. See. Simple right? I kinda feel like we went down the path of the hard way, but I guess there really is no ‘easy’ way to explain it. If all of the above becomes a little confusing, stick to the simple rule of scale and contrast. Big with small and small with big. If you do this, you will never go wrong. Happy to answer any questions, so pop them down below if you like. If you want to put together a similar look, use the links below: Sunglasses here Similar windowpane suit here Similar shirt here Similar tie here Similar pocket square here Similar tie bar here Similar shoes here. PROUD MOMMY: KIDDIES WALKING BONPOINT FALL-WINTER 2018 SHOW LIVESTREAM January 28, 2018 at 12:24AM
You can’t imagine how proud I am seeing this video. Obviously I experienced this same feeling a few days back, while I was looking at my two cute babies walking down the Bonpoint runway for the second time, but being away from home – in Palm Spring for a press trip, which I can’t complain about – the feeling get EXTRA.
First of all, to all of the kids in the show; you guys are so brave to walk towards that photo pit, then NOT forget to take a left, walk around that pillar in the middle of the catwalk, and make your way – all the way – back! And while doing it, not forgetting to look at your cutest. I guess the latter comes natural to all of them, because boy oh boy, are these kids not insanely cute! Then the dynamics between all these angel-faces is just hilarious! Some of them would walk slowly but steady, knowing exactly where to go, then there’s a few who storm out of the backstage area – like my girl Stella – and literally soak up smiling EVERY SINGLE SECOND of it. Then there’s always one very small one, who is not sure what he or she is doing there, and often decides half way to just go back. Obviously this results in show venue full of ohs and ahs, people just can’t stop smiling of happiness, because THIS IS the happiest show they will ever go to.
Now while you’re able to enjoy the show for as many times as you want, I’m going to soak up some Californian sunshine, while working on my round up pieces with all my favorite looks from the Bonpoint Fall-Winter 2018 show! Enjoy!

3 Meal Replacement Smoothies That Are Healthy and Delicious January 26, 2018 at 01:45PM
With a busy schedule, it can be tempting to skip meals — especially if you have kids you’re always thinking about feeding first. And while you may think that one less meal during your day could actually be beneficial calorie-wise, it can damage your metabolism and cause you to get intense hunger pangs… which can then lead to reaching for whatever’s convenient, even if it’s totally unhealthy and not what you’d usually eat. It’s a vicious cycle, so try not to get stuck in it!
For me, it’s really important to have an easy-to-prep meal on hand for days when I just don’t have time to think about what to eat, especially for breakfast, and even more important now that I have two kiddos to look after. I’ve found that smoothies are the best meal replacement option — they’re so easy to make and pack a lot of nutrients into a cup you can take with you anywhere.
Here are three smoothie recipes to have on hand for the days when you’re tempted to skip meals.

Italian’s Do It Best In my (and my shirt’s) opinion, Italian’s nail it; in food (pizza and red wine), fashion, lifestyle and the boys are pretty cute too. *Disclaimer* I’m not Italian- so no prejudice here. It was six months after my trip to Amalfi when I spotted this number from Ports 1961, nostalgia kicked in, and naturally I had to fill my holiday void with a shirt. How to Simplify Your Beauty Routine to 10 Minutes or Less January 24, 2018 at 01:45PM
Now that Madina is in my life, I have even less time in the mornings to devote to my beauty routine. Though I’m sometimes tempted to skip it altogether and just wash my face quickly so I can get my day started, I know that spending even a few minutes on myself every morning helps me feel more put together and keeps me feeling like myself, despite the many hats I wear (including mom!).
The key for me this past month has been taking some of my tried-and-true beauty habits and paring them down so I can get a mini routine done in about ten minutes or less, even with the kids around.
Here are the ways I’m paring things down to save time each day. Hopefully they’ll be useful to you, too — we can all use a little more time on our hands!

WMBW Travels – Unico 20°87° – Part 2 As promised, here is Part 2 of our Unico 20°87° travel review. In case you are new to the blog and possibly missed Part 1, well you can find it here – Part 1 is all about our general thoughts on the hotel, it’s location and it’s aesthetics. This post will be all about what made the stay at Unico 20°87° special to us. The finer details… you know the kind of stuff that stays with you long after the trip is over. For some reason (well, obvious reasons I guess) this place really stayed with us, we’re still not over how amazing it was. Let’s start at the beginning, shall we? Not the beginning of the trip (ain’t nobody got time for that), but rather the beginning of the day. Watching the sun come up over the hotel is just absolutely mind-blowing. It’s something impossible to describe really, how do you describe a sunrise? Lucky for us a picture is worth 1000 words, and the picture you’re about to see is worth millions. The next photo has undergone no retouching or colour enhancing, it is as it was captured by my camera. I have never seen colours like this anywhere in the world. Is your mind blown yet? It should be. Watching the sun come up in the early hours was one of our favourite things. A little moment of calm. The hotel’s dead quiet, the pools are empty and you haven’t yet had a Margarita – But more on those delicious Margaritas later. The hotel is built around 2 massive pools that pretty much become the focus of the day. Complete with a swim-up bar, a volleyball net, basketball hoops and a DJ building up the young party crowd as they do Tequila shots shouting “whooo hoooo”. Pretty standard for this part of the word I guess – and really fun if that’s what you’re in the mood for. If not, you can simply retreat to La Escondida, for mellow music and a serene atmosphere with a hydro pool that lets you get away from it all. As you can imagine getting a poolside seat is always a priority on a vacation like this but never seemed to be a problem during our stay. There seemed to be endless pool lounges, pool beds and poolside cabanas, so there’s always somewhere to throw your towel down and join the pool party! And man can these guys throw a pool party! All the pools offer a poolside bar and snack service and there are loads of staff around to serve you cocktails and snacks to your heart’s content. This is one of the best things about staying at an all-inclusive resort really. You eat and drink what and when you feel like it and your holiday is never ruined by a surprise bill at the end. We spent our days working down the cocktail list only stopping for Margaritas and tacos in-between. It was heaven! Eating and drinking is always a massive part of our vacations. Elzaan and I often reflect back on a meal or drink we had somewhere as some of our happiest memories – truth be told we nearly licked the screen at the sight of those tacos and corn chips earlier. So it goes without saying that food is important to us, and we’re always worried that an all-inclusive resort will be one giant mass produced buffet after another. We’re happy to report that Unico 20°87° was nothing like this. As touched on in my first post, there are 3 main restaurants for dinner together with a bunch of smaller restaurants and cafe’s scattered around for all-day dining. We were lucky enough to experience all 3 and so I’ll give you a quick breakdown on each. Cueva Siete serves up dishes deeply rooted in Mexican flavours and traditions. It’s not your typical Tex Mex restaurant so don’t expect quesadillas or tacos here. Cueva Siete works on a chef-driven concept where the chef will be rotated every so often. With former Top Chef Mexico contestant, Christian Bravo currently at the helm, a distinguished take on both familiar, and lesser known, Mexican dishes is what you can expect. We loved the fact that all our local dishes were paired with local wine. Mura House was possibly our favourite of the three. Much to our surprise, we found one of the best Japanese restaurants we have ever visited, slap bang in the middle of a Mexican hotel! The restaurant aims to achieve a balance between tradition and uniqueness by bringing together three different styles of Japanese cuisine-teppanyaki, yakitori, and sushi. We tried them all and everything was delicious, our only regret was having had lunch that same day and not being hungry enough to taste the entire menu – though we came pretty darn close. Mi Carisa focuses on the traditions and practices of coastal Italian cuisine. Again this was one of the best Italian restaurants we’ve ever eaten at. Everything from the bread to the wine was just spectacular. The carpaccio was outstanding and I can say without a doubt that I had the best steak of my life there. As with the two restaurants above, every detail is immaculate, from the tableware to the decor, nothing is overlooked. Elzaan and I agreed that the quality of all 3 restaurants was so outstanding that if they existed as independent restaurants back home we would visit them without question. This was one of the details that really stuck with us during our stay – it was the last thing we expected from an all-inclusive deal. Lastly, it’s worth mentioning that your all-inclusive experience includes anything from selected Spa and Salon treatments to tours and excursions (all with just a 20% service fee payable). Our group was lucky enough to experience the Extreme Mayan Jungle Tour, where we literally got dropped off in the middle of the Mayan jungle to spend the day swimming in the local cenotes and ziplining through the treetops. On a side note… For some strange reason, it seems that ziplining is the thing to do while in Quintana Roo. No matter where we drove it seemed that somewhere offered the highest, fastest or longest zip line through the jungle. I’m convinced you can make your way down the entire province just via zip line. The whole day is a unique experience in a private reserve shared only by 3 other hotels. Our hotel representative was a great guide (and an all-around funny guy), giving us just enough history and culture so that we learned something new without getting bored. The day of swimming and zip lining ended with a traditional lunch at a Mayan village. Perfect timing as we were all starved by then. We were treated to handmade corn tortillas, grilled pork and a slow-cooked Mayan chicken in a little village in the middle of nowhere. It’s not something I’ll soon forget. I feel like I’ve really raved about how great our stay at Unico 20°87° has been. I sometimes worry that it doesn’t come across as authentic, but then I remember that no one is paying me to write this review and I feel like I need to remind you of that. Sure the hotel invited us to come and stay, but the views will always be our own. A quick scroll through Trip Advisor or Hotels.com will echo everything I’ve said above – “excellent”, “amazing” and “incredible”. If you’re looking for good food, great location and huge value, I sincerely suggest booking a week here. We may even go back for our honeymoon. : ) Okay. Bon voyage and stay fancy. whatmyboyfriendwore

Meghan Markle Has Chosen Her Wedding Dress Designer
This article originally appeared on InStyle.com
Meghan Markle won’t be walking down the aisle to marry Prince Harry until May, but we already know a little bit about her wedding dress.
The Suits actress and soon-to-be royal has already picked her wedding dress designer with the help of her friend, bridal stylist Jessica Mulroney, according to Good Morning America. Royal reporter Omid Scobie visited GMA on Friday to share the known details regarding what Markle will wear down the aisle.
“We have a wedding dress designer,” said Scobie. “Meghan flew in her close friend and bridal stylist Jessica Mulroney from Toronto to London last weekend where she attended a top-secret fitting at Kensington Palace with the designer.”
Mulroney’s four-day visit reportedly helped the planning process along, and even though the name of the designer they chose isn’t public yet, the person has teamed up with Mulroney and Markle to create dress options.
“They’ve tried on a number of different designs and are currently whittling it down to pick the best design for the day,” said Scobie. The design hasn’t been settled on, but the vibe sure has. Scobie said that Markle wants a dress that is “simple and classy and very elegant.”
Markle and Mulroney have spent time making wedding plans, but Scobie said Prince Harry has “made himself scarce” in the process.
“Harry made himself scarce, giving the girls plenty of private time to kind of have their meetings with the designers and, of course, choose other wedding elements,” he said. “Harry’s kind of made it clear that he wants to make this about Meghan.”

Block heels are my best friend Confession: I’m too lazy to wear heels. It might have something to do with the fact that I live by the beach, so stepping out in stilettos makes me feel out of place and overdone. It’s no secret that I’m sneaker obsessed, but this year I’m trying to branch out – which is where my new block heels from Louis Vuitton come in. They’re the perfect happy medium between ‘put together’ and comfortable. I had to hunt them down (they’re almost sold out everywhere!) but they were worth the chase. Plus, they make me look an inch taller = #winning. By @carmengracehamilton. The post Block heels are my best friend appeared first on CHRONICLES OF HER. Carmen Hamilton
The 2018 Hair Trends You Need To Know ‘New year, new me’ is my mantra when it comes to initiating a fresh start to the year – and that includes a new ‘do’. At the end of last year, I was dying for a change. Saying my locks were ‘lifeless’ sounds like a shampoo commercial tagline – but it was true. So I did the big chop. I actually cut off 50cm of my hair (you can see the before here, and after above). I did it gradually, but when it comes to hair even a centimetre can make a huge difference. The plus side is that hair grows, and a new ‘do isn’t forever. Experimenting with a new look could completely change your vibe. So whether you want a subtle change or a complete transformation, I’ve got you covered (after hours of trawling Instagram!). See below for the 2018 hair trends you need to know about (and some serious inspo to head to your hairdresser with). Seasons Purchases: What I Bought for S/S 18
I love taking moments to share with you all what I am adding (and purging) from my own personal wardrobe. If you follow along on Instagram you probably saw that I recently did a massive closet overhaul. Is it just me, or do you all stare blankly at your wardrobe a few times a year and feel sick of everything?
I think I have finally come to a place in my life where I have accepted the fact that I get sick of clothing, and fast. When I first started writing about curating your closet I had a goal in mind to eventually hit this place of having the perfect closet- where I would own pieces for years because they were so perfect. And while I do own my basics for years, I’ve realized its perfectly ok to have a revolving door of trendier pieces, because keeping that section of your wardrobe new and fresh, will only add to your inspiration and creativity (or at least it does for me)!
I try to limit myself to five pieces a season. I have found that five or so pieces have been an achievable number for me. I can afford my quality pieces if I purchase less, but yet it is still enough pieces that my wardrobe feels new and fresh again. I tend to buy designer when purchasing seasonal pieces, because I know if I ever get sick of an item, I can always resell it for something new!
So, with all that being said I wanted to put together a list for you all of what I have brought into my wardrobe recently (starting from left to right). Also, note that a few of these items were gifted, however, I am choosing to include them in the spirit of full transparency. Plus I think they are items that are worth investing in!
SANDRO LINEN BLAZER + TROUSERS: this is my most recent purchase and I am so excited about it. It has a very Celine vibe, and I think it will be perfect as the weather starts to warm up.
NANUSHKA LEMPO TUNIC: (gifted) I love a good black turtleneck and love the long slit in this one. I can already imagine wearing it a thousand different ways.
NANUSHKA GIA SWEATER: (gifted) a good creme sweater is essential to every wardrobe and this one is literally the perfect shade of creme.
BALENCIAGA QUADRO HEELS: I’ve loved these square toe heels forever, so when I saw them pop up on the RealReal, I had to snag them.
REALIZATION PAR DRESS: They simply do the best feminine dresses. I’ve owned a few in the past, and have no clue why I didn’t own the basic black one. I have already worn it multiple times, including on NYE!
BYFAR SOPHIE BOOTS: (gifted) I have owned a few different pairs of white boots, but these are by far my favorite. They are the perfect shape and have a super 60s feel to them. I love wearing them!
MNZ VENUS BLOUSE: I bought this on sale a few weeks back when Need Supply had their holiday sale. I love how special this top feels, and how feminine yet laid back and cool it looks. Definitely, one I plan on holding on to for a while.

How-To Wear Oversized
A question I frequently get asked is how to wear anything oversized, and specifically oversized sweaters. This time of year we all love a big cozy sweater, how there is a thin line between chic and frumpy. So how do I keep things très chic? Well, let me tell you…
wearing: Inxclsiv sweater / vintage dress / MNZ boots
Keep it cropped! I honestly think there is no easier way to do oversized then to stick to a cropped silhouette. I am really loving the cropped sweater styled over a dress like I did here. But it would look equally cute with a pair of vintage jeans and a good pair of boots! (I’m totally obsessed with these knee-high boots by MNZ)

MadelynnWMBW Eats – Roast & Co A couple of weeks ago, Elzaan and I were invited to lunch at Roast and Co just off Bree Streets famous culinary strip! Luckily we skipped breakfast and arrived at this new mono menu restaurant hungry! For those of you unfamiliar with the mono menu concept let me explain. You know that feeling when you sit down at a restaurant staring endlessly at the menu without a clue on what to order? Well, this is the opposite of that, they simply make the choice for you – “Hope you’re in the mood for Chicken, cause that’s what we’re cooking up here!” Not surprisingly, Roast and Co is the sister restaurant to Cape Town’s infamous HQ restaurant where you can get anything you like as long as it’s Sirloin and fries. Personally, I love this concept and Elzaan and I are major fans of HQ. The sirloin and fries topped with Café de Paris butter has never dissapointed in the 4 years I’ve been going there. We try hit their Tuesday date night special whenever we can – 2 glasses of wine, 2 salads and 2 steaks with fries for under R300. That’s the whole bill. Yes, for 2 people. Did I mention the fries are bottomless? Okay, sorry, I digress, this isn’t a review on HQ, but it is right next door so I thought it worth a mention. So where were we? Oh yes, the mono menu. I love the idea of a restaurant deciding to do one thing and doing it incredibly well. It takes all the guesswork out of ordering and makes the food a destination. It stands to reason then, that the menu is relatively simple. Choose your chicken, now choose your sides. Okay, it’s not that simple. There is also a selection of about 6 starters to get you going, all of them a modern twist on some South African favourites. We decided to go for the deep fried mac ‘n cheese and the chicken caesar croquettes. Mostly because they were deep fried and also, who doesn’t love mac ‘n cheese anything! If you cant already tell from the pictures they were full of crispy delicious goodness. In fact, my mouth is watering just looking at the pics and remembering how delicious they were. When it came to our main course…or main feast as it were, we decided to fill our table with as many sides as it would hold. Again, the sides take South African favourites like pap and give it a contemporary (and fancy) twist by drizzling it with truffle oil – we do love us some truffle oil. The chickens are all free range Elgin birds, cooked over an open flame on an imported rotisserie stove! The result is an incredibly flavoursome and super moist chicken with a little flame licked flavour – wow, I almost sound like a real food critic there. The sides were all delicious, with the pumpkin fritters taking the cake (no pun intended) for their ability to be dunked in gravy and still retain their delicious crispiness. The meal was a true a feast and we loved every last bite of this soul food experience. We were only 2, but we imagine a family table filled with people would be a frenzy of hands and plates crisscrossing each other as everyone fought over those fritters. It felt a lot like eating at home but with the benefit of not cleaning up afterwards. By the end of our meal, we were stuffed. Having slowly made our way through a bottle of Warwick First lady Sauvignon Blanc, we thought we would end on a cocktail or 2…and possibly a dessert. Okay, so clearly we weren’t that stuffed, but cocktails and dessert go to a different part of the stomach. What? You didn’t know that? It’s science, look it up. Having just returned from Mexico, the churros with caramel dipping sauce were an obvious choice. We hadn’t, in fact, had any in Mexico, so this was long overdue. Besides we were on a deep fried frenzy so why stop now? Sticking with the Mexican theme, I ordered a grapefruit Margarita (we had PLENTY of those in Mexico) and Elzaan ordered a smoked mule – not because it was Mexican, but because it sounded delicious. The Churros we really good and we scraped out every last bit of that caramel sauce. The cocktails on the other hand, sounded and looked better than they tasted. I found them overly sweet and just lacking in flavour – In saying that I am incredibly strict when it comes to cocktails. In the end, we loved the whole experience. We sat on the front stoep overlooking heritage square and enjoying the start of summer. The interior of the restaurant is however far more beautiful, filled with rustic details and a really cosy atmosphere. There’s also a courtyard out back to escape those windy Cape Town days and enjoy a little el fresco dining. We had a looooong lazy lunch and never felt rushed by anyone, the staff and service were all incredible. I do think the whole farm to table, family style dining approach at Roast and Co lends itself to a larger group over a small one. Don’t get me wrong, it’s a great place to pop in for a business lunch, but it’s an even better place for a team lunch. They’re open Mondays to Saturdays from 12 to 12 and you can book on +27 21 424 6372 or drop them a mail at info@roastandco.co.za Okay. Bon Apetite and stay fancy. whatmyboyfriendwore

New Beginnings
“How would you describe the past year in one word?” I was recently asked that very question and knew exactly what my word was. It was Change. Painful, thrilling, beautiful, Change.
2017 brought so much change. I made huge steps forward in my career. Dreams that I had only dared to imagine, started to unfold before my eyes. New friendships were blooming, and for the first time, I felt excited by the woman I was becoming.
Yet while all these amazing opportunities were unfolding, there was one massive change that kept haunting me, like a deep dark hole in the pit of my stomach. A change that was slowly forcing me to learn the pain and grief that comes along with a broken relationship. 2017 marked the year that I spent grieving the loss of something so sacred, important and special to me – my marriage.
I would never wish the pain of a divorce upon anyone. But through the lowest parts of this past year, I learned something very important (many thanks to this very article). I learned to never say “everything happens for a reason” because, frankly, that isn’t always the case. Everything happens, to all of us, all the time, and there often is no reason for any of it. Our role is to accept these things as they come and to help those around us do the same. We learn together how to build beauty out of suffering.
I’ve always intended WEL to be a place of inspiration. A place to get lost, to discover something new, or to just daydream the day away. I chose to keep things light and to not go very personal on here. However, through a few recent conversations with some readers, I have decided that being a bit more open with you all might be a really beautiful thing. This platform can be both inspirational and a shoulder in which you can lean on.
On the day that would’ve been my sixth wedding anniversary, I went back to the place where we spoke our vows to one another and I set up a beehive. A small reminder to myself that new life can come out of even the darkest of times. To me, this little hive represents the life that I want to work for: a life blooming with love and fragrant like honey.
So on that note, may this next year be a year of rebuilding what has been broken and celebrating abundance. May we continue to step forward, together and always search for the beauty amidst the suffering, pressing equally hard into both. Because believe it or not, beauty is present. Shining like a sliver of the moon on a cold winters night.

MadelynnBONPOINT WINTER 2017 January 16, 2018 at 04:49PM
We just got back from a long weekend upstate, and my head is already overflowing with things to do, ideas for the blog, and preparations for Paris Haute Couture, and OF COURSE: The Bonpoint Fall-Winter 2018 show!!! It’s that time of year again, and I couldn’t be more excited! Couture is and will always be my favorite fashion week of the season. The pace in which things go during that week is a thousand times better than the nerve wrecking and completely exhausting Ready-to-wear week. Nonetheless, I love that week too, but IF I had to make a choice, you and I know which one I would go for. Another upside is a more private one, do you know what I’m talking about…
Of course you know! It’s I think the third, no wait, it’s the fourth season we are going to Paris, as a family, because we are invited by our lovely Bonpoint family! Last season the kids made their first appearance on their runway, and both enjoyed it enough that we are going for it again this season. Me being the nervous mommy, the kids being their perfect self. So until we board that plane to this city of love, and fashion, here’s a little something to look at.
